The name HavenPoint was inspired by my belief that therapy should be a safe place to land.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, having a space where you can feel safe, supported, and understood can make all the difference.
At HavenPoint Counseling, my goal is to provide that space—a haven where you can show up exactly as you are. A place where you feel heard, valued, and supported as you work toward healing and growth.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I believe meaningful change happens when clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring their experiences without fear of judgment. Together, we'll work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you, with HavenPoint serving as a steady source of support along the way.
Hi, I’m René, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) providing virtual therapy to adults and teens throughout New Jersey.
I believe in each person’s ability to grow, heal, and create meaningful change. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward greater balance, confidence, and fulfillment.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, eating and body image concerns, and the impact of loving someone with substance use challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s needs, drawing from CBT, DBT, Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based approaches, and EMDR.
In our work together, you can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood. I view therapy as a partnership, and I aim to meet you with empathy, respect, and genuine care as we work toward your goals.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a mom of two who enjoys time in nature, weightlifting, and being with family and friends—experiences that help me stay grounded and balanced.
